Perhaps appearing a little out of place, Mayer’s choice of ’calculated’ as the fourth explored verb in this project complements the first three. Beginning with “I have calculated the end”, this list demonstrates some of the many things which my be calculated. Time zones, tiles on a floor financial details, emotional and geographical distance, years of fertility. Every day is full of calculations, both great and small, and this is one of the most basic processes for placing ourselves in our worlds, and defining our role.
