Shot on a deliberately low budget and stylistically intended to evoke the cinema of Georges Méliès, Willi Tobler und der Untergang der 6. Flotte tells about Willi Tobler and an interstellar conflict at some unspecified point in the future. Willi endeavours to survive and takes a job as Chief Admiral of the 6th Fleet, at the centre of power. But, in his radical attempt to start a new life, he takes the wrong side in this civil war.
