Dear ₐᵣᶢᴼˢ reader,

The year and our exhibitions are drawing to a close and we're just about ready to wrap things up. Before entering hibernation (24 December to 12 January), we wanted to share wonderful news regarding two works that we co-produced and were recently premiered at ⓐⓡⓖⓞⓢ:

• Aay Liparoto's VR experience Smalls Acts of Violence has been selected for the International Film Festival Rotterdam in the Art Directions: immersive media programme
• The Perfect Square by Gernot Wieland, currently featured in our exhibition Square, Circle, Square, has been included in the upcoming Forum Expanded programme at Berlinale

Gernot Wieland's exhibition returns in January to run another two weeks and closes with a lecture performance by the artist on 28 January. In March, we zoom in on the film school environment with Herman Asselberghs : Time Wasted. The three new audiovisual works presented in this exhibition include a series of student portraits and originate from the educational environment in which the artist has been working for a quarter century.
